Experience riding downhill on modern mountain bikes, through quiet villages that expose the heart of Bali. Set off after a tasty morning-tea overlooking Lake Batur and the volcanic smoke plumes of Mount Batur. Along the path of sleepy villages, local farmers work their fields and mother bring their children to the road and wave. Frequent stops to explore temples, shady plantations and picturesque villages give rare insight into the traditional lifestyle. Women bear tall offerings, farmers cut grass for their cows and processions of disciplined ducks are herded along roads. Our guides locals from the surrounding regions, share these images, a broad depth of knowledge of their culture and the natural flora and fauna of the island.
