Morning visit to Bogor Botanical Garden. Located about 50 km south of Jakarta in the city of Bogor, it is huge, world-class botanical garden, covering in area of around 80 hectares. Founded in 1817, the garden contain streams and lotus ponds and it has a collection of magnificent palms. The garden's orchid houses are reputed to contain more than 3000 orchid varieties. Then continue to Puncak Highland, this beautiful 1700-meters high area located 20-km southeast of Bogor. On the way to Bandung, pass on a narrow winding mountain road, which passes through small resort towns and tea plantations. It is a popular escape from the heat and crowds of Jakarta.
