5 DAYS - Mini Java-Bali Overland

DAY 1 : YOGYA ARRIVAL
You will be met at Yogya Adisucipto Airport and proceed on to visit the impressive Hindu shrine in Java built in the 9th century, Prambanan temple which also well-known as Rorojonggrang or the "slender virgin temple". The wealth of sculptural detail on great Shiva temple makes it easily the most outstanding example of Hindu art. Ramayana Ballet, Java's most spectacular dance drama is performed on full-moon nights, staged with the magnificent, illuminated Shiva temple as backdrop. You'll be staying for the next two nights in this friendly city - Yogya.

DAY 2 : YOGYA CITY TOUR - BOROBUDUR
Breakfast at hotel. Begins with a visit to the Sultan's Palace or Kraton. It remains the hub of Yogya's traditional life and continues to radiate the spirit of refinement that has been the hallmark of its art for centuries. This is followed by a chance to see the Javanese crafts silversmiths and batik processing. Lunch is at a local restaurant in town. After lunch we will take you to one of the world's wonder - Borobudur Temple. Enjoy this colossal, cosmic mountain. Which is one of the most imposing creations of mankind, nothing else like it exist ! The entire monument was conceived as a Buddhist vision of the cosmos in the stone, starting in the everyday world and spiraling up to Nirvana.

DAY 3 : YOGYA - SOLO - TRETES/BROMO
Breakfast at hotel. Driving via the town of Solo to Tretes, a mountain resort 54 km south of Surabaya. Lunch at local restaurant enroute. Check-in at your hotel. At midnight Bromo Excursion drive to the village of Ngadisari and continue your journey from the rim of the old crater down into the caldera on a horse back. Cross the sand-sea to smoking crater of Bromo to watch a spectacular scene during sunrise.

DAY 4 : BROMO/TRETES - KALI BARU
Breakfast at Bromo. By 10 A.M. back to Tretes for shower. Next, transfer to Kalibaru, a charming small town with much plantation atmosphere. We will stay for overnight at Margo Utomo Guest House.

DAY 5 : KALI BARU - BALI
In the morning walk amidst plantation sites i.e. coffee, cacao, nutmeg etc, we will also have opportunity to see traditional brown sugar refinery, before proceeding to Ketapang, where you will cross the Strait of Bali by ferry. Once in Bali, your last lap takes you along the beautiful west coast of the island in the direction of Denpasar.
You may opt to extend the tour with a beach extension in Bali.
